Wine Cellar opens ‘industrial chic’ tasting room in Observatory
After conducting some of the country’s finest tastings in their underground cellar for more than a decade, Wine Cellar enlisted the help of interior design company XPERIENCEMAKERS to transform a large upstairs area into a bright, spacious, new tasting room. The room boasts wooden floors, high ceilings and a mood wall at each end – one overlaid with rugged stones from the Sijnn property in Malgas, and the other featuring an enormous photograph of vineyards at the foot of the Helderberg Mountains.
