We searched for an ideal counter to reflect the brand and its heritage, and lead people through the reception area. The klompie brick wall, hand-made from the rich clay found in the area, was our way of bringing in the winelands theme. A hand-cast solid brass forged RMB boardroom door handle, together with original art against the walls, communicate traditional values. Hand-woven traditional rugs, barley twist standing lamps, custom-made armchairs, and our choice of fabrics all added to the homely feeling.
